About the Journal
Jambura Pendidikan IPA (JPIPA) – P-ISSN: xxxx-xxxx | E-ISSN: xxxx-xxxx – is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Department of Science Education, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, Indonesia. As an academic platform, JPIPA is committed to disseminating high-quality research and promoting the advancement of knowledge in the field of science education at national and international levels.
JPIPA adopts an open-access policy, ensuring that all published articles are freely available online without subscription fees. This principle supports global knowledge exchange, increases research visibility, and encourages wider academic collaboration. The journal publishes two regular issues per year, in February and August, and may publish special issues on emerging themes in science education when necessary.
The journal welcomes contributions from academics, researchers, teachers, practitioners, and graduate students. Every manuscript submitted to JPIPA undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by qualified reviewers to ensure scientific quality, originality, clarity, and relevance. Beginning with Vol. 1, No. 1 (February 2025), JPIPA accepts and publishes manuscripts exclusively in English to enhance international readership and academic impact.
Scope of the Journal
JPIPA publishes empirical research articles, literature reviews, conceptual papers, and critical perspectives related to science education. The journal’s scope covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Indexing, DOI, and Ethical Standards
JPIPA is registered with Crossref and assigns a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to every published article under the prefix:
10.34312/jpia (or the correct prefix once finalized).
The journal is available in both print and online formats and adheres strictly to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. JPIPA upholds the highest ethical standards and does not tolerate any form of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices.
